Manufacturers continue to focus on cost reduction, quality and customer service.  Information technology provides a key role in meeting these objectives.  The “Next Step” requires innovation in integrated services from supply chain to the customer.   Information adds value and can be sold as part of the product.

The Instant Market will grow over the next few years.  Manufacturers need to consider how it will address this market, otherwise risk losing market share to this emerging market.  Understanding how it works and how to address its needs will ensure growth.
